Advice and Guidance
Are you confused about what to do next? We have advice workers who can give you up to date advice and information regarding education, employment and training.
Adult Directions
If you cannot make your mind up we have a computer programme which can give you some suggestions and point you in the right direction. All you have to do is answer some question regarding your likes and dislikes regarding work and training and what you are interested in. This is really easy and takes about 20-30 minutes.
Education
We have all the current prospectuses for the further and higher education colleges and family resource centres around Leeds. If you want something that we have not got then we are happy to get you the course information that you want. We will also assist you with completing the application forms if you wish. We can also sometimes assist with registration and enrolment fees.
Employment
We have access to up to date job information via the internet and also local and certain national papers. We also have direct links with the Jobcentre. If you are wishing to look for a job on the internet then you are welcome to come along and use it for this purpose. We can show you which sites to look at regarding your particular area of interest.
Voluntary Work
We also can assist you if you are interested in voluntary work opportunities. We have access to up to date information regarding current vacancies and also we can refer you to Voluntary Action Leeds for local opportunities.
C.V s
If you would like a professional looking C.V then we can write one with you.
Information point
We have a well stocked information point which has lots of different information about courses work, benefits, volunteering opportunities etc. You can come in and have a look around at your leisure.
If you are interested in an advice and guidance interview then you can either drop in to see a worker. Alternatively you can book to make an appointment.
