| Here are a few real life stories of volunteers who have worked with Multiple Choice: |
| |
| Brian: "I have had problems in the past with drugs and alcohol and got through it. I wanted to volunteer as I think I have something to offer. The 6 week induction was helpful and volunteering here has opened my eyes up to different things and helped me to change my opinion". |
Sally: "I wanted to gain some knowledge in the health and social care sector as I have applied to college for September to study health and social care. The induction was fun and very informative and I have now started volunteering in the women's group and am currently looking into short courses to do before starting college in the autumn". |
| |
| Richard: "I wanted to do something useful while developing my experiences and eventually job prospects and my general self improvement. The induction was informative; it has been good to get into a routine, and to get to know people and how places such as Multiple Choice are run. I have just started my placement and it is going well". |
| |
| Becky: "I was given an opportunity to take a step forward in my life and Multiple Choice has given me a chance to see that whatever you are capable of, whatever your background, they are a service that wants to encourage people that there is hope out there. i've gained a lot of confidence which I lacked before, and developed skills in different areas, I'm glad I made the step to come here". |
